When it comes to enthusiasm, energy and passion for music, Jason Rockman is tough to beat. Having been a professional musician for almost 25 years, he has sold over 120,000 records worldwide as the lead singer of Slaves on Dope. He collaborated with rock roll hall of famers Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC) and Chuck D (Public Enemy). He has also shared the stage with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Our Lady Peace, Pantera, Korn, Motörhead, Queens of the Stone Age, and countless others. It is fair to say that Jason has been there AND bought the T-shirt.
He is the spokesperson for Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City and Winnipeg Comiccons, as well as Heavy MTL music festival. Veteran radio broadcaster, he was the host of Amped with The Rockman on CHOM 97.7 for 14 years in Montreal. With over 15 years of voice over experience, he has lent his voice to numerous projects with Just for Laughs, evenko, Montréal en lumière, Comiccon and many more.
In 2021, he launched a brand-new podcast called The Rockman Power Hour with his co-host Ryan Stick, in which he talks all things pop culture. More recently, he started working with Sébastien Trudel for radio Énergie where they prank the biggest names in the world (such as Donald Trump).
Ryan Stick is an Actor, Director, Musician and Podcast host form Montreal, Canada. After getting bitten by a radioactive spider, Ryan started playing music at age 13, starting out on drums then moving to bass, guitar and lead vocals. He’s played in a number of Montreal Bands including Judgemental, Evil Boys From Hell, Rockets Away, the annual Christmas band, The Holiday Hooligans, and The Real Deal in which he has toured The United States, Japan and Australia.
As an actor Ryan has had small but memorable parts in movies and tv shows such as To Catch A Killer, Ascension, The Transplant and 19-2. As a director Ryan has directed, co-directed and edited music videos for bands such as Slaves on Dope, The BCASA, The Nailheads, and the all-star The Kings Of Quarantine project. As a YouTuber and podcast host Ryan has created and hosted shows such shows as You Me And YTV that focus’s on Canadian 90s nostalgia and The Ryan Stick Show as well as Spookeasy Manor and Season Xero. For the last 7 years, Ryan’s editing and graphic work can be seen in videos for Montreal Comiccon, Ottawa Comiccon, Comiccon de Québec and Winnipeg Comiccon, as well as various videos for Heavy Montreal all featuring Montreal rock and pop culture icon Jason Rockman. Together for the last 2 years they have co-hosted The Rockman Power Hour that has had the most incredible guests from the world of pop culture including, Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Store Sour) Fat Mike (Nofx), director Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) and many more.
